micro:bit Resolutions

Hello everyone and welcome to the final New Product Post of 2023 here at SparkFun Electronics! This week, we bring you four new accessories for your micro:bit v2 Board that should hopefully spark some new project ideas for 2024! These new accessories are two USB cables and two battery packs that easily connect to your micro:bit for greater ease of use.

Before we get to these four new products, we’d like to remind you that SparkFun will be closed on Monday, January 1st in observation of the New Year’s Day. Any orders qualifying for same day shipping placed after 2:00 p.m. MST on Friday, December 29th will be processed on Tuesday, January 2nd when we return to normal business hours.

Now, onto this week’s new products!

These are simple, but unique USB-A to Micro B cables specifically for use with the micro:bit. You get to choose whether you want the cable in green or in black. Each cable measures 300mm long, or just under 12in., and handles both power and USB 2.0 data rates for your micro:bit board.

These are two versions (one with a power switch and one without) of a simple battery box for powering your micro:bit v2 Board. Each accepts two AAA batteries and plugs directly into the board via a JST connector.
